Registration is open for 14 worldwide Certified Localisation Professional (CLP) Level 1 courses during the summer through fall of 2010 by The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP). C.2. SDL Automated Translation Survey

SDL, a provider of global information management solutions, has announced the results of its SDL Automated Translation Survey on machine translation. The survey, conducted in conjunction with the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas and the European Association for Machine Translation, ended in January 2010. The survey included additional questions on using automated translation with human post-editing.

This was the second time that the survey was conducted, enabling a comparison with the previous survey, to produce year-on-year trends. This survey was completed by 228 individuals of managerial level in global business.
